PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Attention seniors who need the FAFSA - College Goal Sunday is January 29th!
At College Goal Sunday, students and parents can talk to experts and get in-depth help filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). In addition to receiving assistance in filling out the FAFSA, participants will receive genteral information regarding state and federal financial aid programs.
In addition, at the University of Bridgeort, they will offer free tax preparation for low income families starting at noon and then FAFSA assistance from 1:30 - 4:30. Families should try to arrive early in the afternoon. There is a drawing for up to $500 in scholarships from ECMC Foundation.

*NEW* - Phone Alert System
Beginning Friday September 30th, we will be utilizing our phone alert system to notify parents of upcoming events. Please be sure to listen to the messages for important notices and as always continue to check our website for updates. Updated messages will be sent out on Fridays.
The spring sports schedule will be available on the CIAC website on February 11th.
Parent Portal Remains Open to Parents
The Stratford Public School System continues its efforts to enhance communication with parent(s)/guardian(s). SHS parents now have the ability to view their child's grades, attendance, and other information securely via the Internet using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parents must first visit the SHS main office (between 7:30 and 3:00) and present photo ID to obtain a secure password. Parents/guardians can access the Parent Portal via the District's website by clicking on the Parent Portal link. Located on this site is an easy-to-follow tutorial, frequently asked questions, and other support documentation.
